“Just because I look cute in a maid costume doesn’t mean I have to clean.”
The first week of April has passed, and most of the spring 2017 anime have premiered. Of course, at the moment, most people are caught up on Boku no Hero Academia and Shingeki no Kyojin. Who would blame them though? We have been waiting for SNK for over 3 years now. Boku no Hero Academia is one of the most unique superhero anime at the moment. But, let us just forget about those two for a second and remember that there are over fifteen other anime also airing. After watching all the first episodes (of the anime that have aired), I came across an anime that seems promising.
A plane is on the runway when all of a sudden a huge cube appears. The cube slowly floats down, landing on the Airplane. Except, it doesn’t seem like the plane is crushed. More so, it looks like the cube swallowed the plane whole. The Japanese government instantly gets to work, as so do the reporters. According to the reporters, the cube is 2000 km by 2000 km. As a meeting is being held, word about of the airplane that was on the runway comes up, but of course, everyone thinks they were smashed. I mean a huge cube landed on the plane. But, a young scientist bursts in with a different hypothesis. Her’s that the plane was yes, sucked up and that the passengers may still be alive. They get to work. First trying to smash a hole into the cube but nothing works. After using their last idea and noticing that the cube is indestructible, they lose hope, but all of a sudden the cube opens up at the top, revealing a set of stairs. Up those stairs comes out Shindo (a passenger) and some other mysterious man that was never on the plane. Who is this man? What does he want?
^Bae as hell. Oh my God.^
I was intrigued throughout the entire episode. There was not a second that I was bored. Meaning, that up to now, this is the anime that I am looking forwards to the most. Yeah, SNK and BNHA are amazing, but Seikaisuru Kado seems hella fascinating.
Seikaisuru Kado uses computer-generated imagery (CGI). This technology is not used as much for anime, but there have been a couple that have used it, like Bubuki Buranki and Ajin. The characters move weirdly sometimes, but it’s something new, thus refreshing.
After seeing the first episode, I recommend this to everyone. Seems like an excellent sci-fi anime. Of course, as I said before, it’s only the first episode, so who knows what will happen, but you should give it a chance if you have not seen it yet.
